Inspired by Roosevelt's legendary expeditions, this rugged leather messenger bag is built to endure. Made from full-grain water buffalo leather in a rich amber brown finish, it is designed to break in beautifully over time, gaining character with every journey. A full front flap secures with hidden magnetic closures, making it quick to swing open with one hand. Beneath the flap, a wide YKK-zippered compartment offers smart storage for essentials, along with a rear full zippered sleeve.
The bag for the man who wants the warmer, more characterful tone in the Roosevelt lineup. Amber brown develops a more visible patina than Dark Oak. Built Right
1.8 to 2.0 mm thick hide in a warm amber brown finish that softens, darkens, and earns character with use. More visibly patina-prone than Dark Oak.
Front brass clasp closure with iron accents. YKK zippers throughout for a long service life. The contrast of brass against amber brown is the bag's signature detail.
Soft suede on the underside of the front flap. Brown canvas through the main compartment. Easy to brush clean and built to hold its shape.

What's the difference between Amber Brown and Dark Oak?
Same water buffalo hide, same construction, same hardware. Amber Brown is a warmer, lighter tone that develops a more visible patina at the corners and strap mounts over time. Dark Oak is a deeper, more uniform brown that ages with subtlety.
How heavy is it?
4 lbs. 3 oz. empty. Full-grain buffalo leather is heavier than synthetic bags. The tradeoff is durability measured in years.
How does the leather age?
Amber Brown buffalo leather develops a richer, more visible patina than darker variants. Light natural scratching is normal and adds character.
What's the warranty?
A one year warranty covers stitching, hardware, and structural defects. Normal patina and wear marks are part of how the bag is meant to age and are not defects.
